Qualified or no?

I Samuel 17: 32-33

32 David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of this Philistine; your servant will go out and fight with him.  33 And Saul said to David, You are not able to go fight against this Philistine/  You are only and adolescent, and he has been a warrior from his youth.

There have been tons of times when I have not felt qualified to do the job I was assigned to do.  There were times when I felt inadequate and like a fish out of water, as though someone made the wrong decision when they put it in my lap.  I must admit though, I’ve always risen to the occasion and not only succeeded, but superseded expectations.  I’m learning that when God places me, not only can I do it, I can kill it.  I can stand over it and boast of His greatness, because when I look back I know there is no way, I should have succeeded, there is no way I should be standing there to tell the story.  That’s because God qualifies who He calls.  You do not have to do it in your own might or strength, just show up to the battle ready to get it in.  Be bold enough to not just hear the Word but to act on it.

I challenge you today, to embark on the journey and plan He has laid before you.  Not the made up plan of what you think He has in store for you, because I guarantee what He has is greater…bigger…larger…than what you ever dreamed.  It seems daunting and intimidating but He will provide.  He is doing a new thing, He is looking for those He can trust to take action, those who are bold enough to try Him.  Get off the bench and get in the game!  I’m excited and invigorated by what’s ready to happen.  Don’t miss it.  Stay faithful, don’t give in, GET IN!  Let’s kill it!
